Greetings,

We will be moving everyone off the former HostingOne web server tonight starting at 9PM CST. Because we will be moving the HostingOne/Xenoten name servers, no action should be required on your part for the move. However, if you're using your own name servers, you will need to update your zone records with the IP address provided in the email notice we're sending everyone. You will not need to immediatly do this though as we will be forwarding all traffic to the new server.

We will update this thread when the migration starts and again when its been completed so you can check back here for updates regarding the progress of the migration.

If you have any questions about this move you can contact our support staff via our help desk at http://support.netwisp.com and we'll be glad to assist you further.

Thanks for your patience and understanding in this matter while we work to improve the service you've been receiving.

Greetings,

One thing that may not be clear in the announcement is that there should not be any downtime for the websites during the move. Traffic will be directed to the old server during the switch (which is currently hosting your website) and then to the new server once the transfers are completed (which will also have your website). So everything should be transparent to you and your visitors.

Again, you are welcome to contact our support staff if you have any other questions regarding the migration.

Thanks!

We have started the migration of everyone's websites to the new server now. I'll update this topic as things progress.

Greetings,

About 62% of the sites have been copied so far so we're about half way done at this point. Stay tuned for further details.
