Greetings,

Please be advised that we will be migrating everyone from the former TheHostingBox and OnTimeHosting servers on Friday, September 8th starting at 10PM CDT. We expect the transfer process to take ten to twelve hours.

While your websites won't have any downtime due to the migration, you may wish to suspend/disable any dynamic sections on your website (like your forums, blogs, or galleries) prior to the start of the move so that any updates (like new posts) aren't lost during the switch. You can then re-enabled them on the new server so that as new visitors arrive at the website, they'll see the sections reopened.

We will be sending everyone being moved an email with their new IP address so that you can access your sites on the new server without having to wait for the DNS to switch over.

Finally, we will be updating this topic during the migration to keep everyone informed with the status of the transfer along with any issues that come up.

Feel free to contact us at our help desk (http://support.netwisp.com) if you have any questions about this migration or would like to schedule a different time to move your sites if this Friday night does not work for you. We will do our best to accommodate you in this migration.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter!

The migration of everyones websites from HostingBox/OnTimeHosting to our servers is underway. We have been copying sites over to the new server and will be starting to restore them shortly. This process will continue until everyone's sites are migrated over. I will update this topic as things progress tonight.

As always, you are welcome to contact us thorugh our help desk at http://support.netwisp.com should you have any questions about this or notice any problems.

Thank you!

Greetings,

We're about 70% done with the migration so far. All the sites on the server at DedicatedNow have been moved and half of the sites at Softlayer have been moved. The SoftLayer server is taking longer than anticipated because the server's ethernet port is set at 10mbit which is limiting how fast we can pull data off the server. At the current rate, it should take another 6-8 hours before everything is completed.

I will update this topic again when more information becomes available.

Thank you.

Greetings,

Due to the complications we're having from the limited port speed on the the SoftLayer server, we have decided to suspend the migration for the remaining sites until 10PM CDT tonight. Anyone who has their site hosted on an IP address starting with 208 and has a username starting with pu, rr, or sk - z will have their site migrated after 10PM CDT tonight.

The reasons behind this decision is that we are saturating the link during the busier part of the day which is not only slowing the transfer but impacting the performance of the server and the remaining sites on it. Plus a couple of the sites left are large forums that requested to be moved during the night so we would like to try and honor that request. So while we apologize for the inconveince caused by this delay, our goal by this change is to minimize complications caused by site migrations during peak traffic hours.

If you have any questions about this change or notice any problems with your websites after you've been moved, you can reach us through our help desk at http://support.netwisp.com and we'll be glad to help get the problem resolved.

I will update this topic again tonight when we resume the migrations.

Thank you for your patience in this matter, it is greatly appreciated! :)

Greetings,

We are pleased to announce that the site migration process is now complete. Everyone's websites from HostingBox/OnTimeHosting have been moved to our servers and all visitors will be directed here once their DNS settings refresh with the new address.

Please let us know if you notice any issues so we can get them resolved as quickly as possible for you.

Once we've made sure that there will not be any further issues from the site moves this weekend, we will be contacting everyone regarding the upcoming integration of your billing account into our main system. We will also be sending you an email with your updated access information at that time.

Thank you for your patience and understand while we undergo these changes in your service!
